So I am about halfway through my next “mortgage” blog and I am just not going to be able to get it up tonight…and realistically, probably not tomorrow night either…so maybe Monday 🙂But in the mean time, you hopefully aren’t buying a home this weekend, so relax and have a wonderful weekend. In over 9 years of marriage, I can count on one hand the number of times that Matt and I have been sick together. Unfortunately, this week we have added another finger 🙁 We both thought it was just severe allergies over the weekend, but it is definitely something more now. Yesterday was a very long and hot day. There is something to be learned from yesterday, however. For me that something is: Always check the weather before deciding to take your children to the zoo! The day before was so beautiful and I just assumed that yesterday would be to, but although it started out pretty, the temperature had climbed to over 100 degrees by the time we left the zoo. Ava and Luke’s faces were bright red, and I was completely soaked with sweat. I had in mind a casual outing and ended up climbing “Mt. Everest” instead 🙂 …

So, after the weekend off and getting a little perspective from my husband, I have decided to take the rest of the week off of blogging. I am really going to be focusing on my book this week. I am also starting homeschooling my little Ava Joy. Noah is having his first full week at school, and there is a lot of transition. My darling Noah starts Kindergarten today. He is so incredibly excited and happy. His Mommy is a little more emotional, although also very excited for him. I feel as if it is one of those monumental moments for our family. From now on we will have children in school. Matt has reminded me that he has been in pre-school already, but it just isn’t the same. We enrolled Noah in our local public pre-school last year, and it just was not a positive experience. Is anyone else completely addicted to the Olympics? I sit breathless every night… way past my bed time. Unfortunately for my blog and my book, the Olympics has very little to do with budgeting. Although, if I stretched I could talk about China overspending their budget by 33 Billion Dollars for the Olympics! Can you imagine going 33 Billion Dollars over budget.
