Long Biography
Tracy Joy Jones was content to be a reader, but her quirky story people wouldn’t leave her alone until she brought them to life and became a contemporary romance writer. She started her real-life romance by falling for the bass player in the band she traveled with after college. However, her love of romance in stories began from her first primary reader. She was disillusioned to later learn that Dick and Jane were actually brother and sister.
Born in South Africa, her parents moved to America as missionaries when she was seven. They instilled in her a belief that every person has a story and every story is precious, a fierce tenacity to go for her dreams, and faith that anything is possible.
Tracy writes in every available moment, but in her free time, she and her husband, Matt, co-own a graphic design firm, Jones House Creative, where they have the joy of working with other authors to help them to tell their stories through website design, marketing, and branding.
When not writing, Tracy reads voraciously, finds humor in the little things, travels as often as she can, while raising three kids in Jenks, Oklahoma.
