Books are one of the great passions of my life. Beautiful stories have always challenged, inspired, and changed me. My whole life I’ve dreamed of creating my own adventurers, dreamers, artists, and characters that would tell the stories of their lives on pages that I’d written. During the course of this last year, I’ve seen that dream realized.
I am in the process of writing a series of books for young adults based in Darlington, America. It’s loosely based geographically on my home town of Jenks, America, but features a completely fictional cast of characters and stories. When to Fight, the first book in the series, is completed, and I’m currently pursuing traditional publishing for it, along with my second book How to Win. I’m currently working on the third book in the series where darling Brie LaMar will discover that finding your roots can truly give you wings. I can’t wait for you to share her adventures as she spreads her wings from Darlington with the chance of a lifetime to spend a semester with her mother’s Italian family learning the secrets of Italy and of her own heart. My dear characters have become my friends, and feel like family that I can’t wait to visit again. I’m so excited for you to meet them too.
When to Fight
What happens when the only way to win depends on knowing when to fight? Both Drew and Riley will need to learn to let go or more than their own hearts will be lost.
